Flocculation is a process consists of gently mixing the water/ wastewater in order to agglomerate and form larger composite particles or floc. The efficiency of removal of solid and other impurities by the solid liquid separation process that follows flocculation; increases if the raw water is properly flocculated. A well designed flocculator provides good flocculation and year of trouble free operation.
