Mechanical Rake Screen can be installed at sewer pumping stations and at head work of waste water treatment plants.
Rake screens are intended for extraction of large and medium waste solids from industrial and municipal wastewater with subsequent unloading on a transporter or into a waste bin. It incorporates a horizontal fixed stainless steel bar-rack and a screen comb. The bars are continually raked by the hydraulically driven com assembly. Maintenance of the Raked Bar Screen is easy and minimal as all of the mechanical parts that require maintenance are above the water surface. This provision allows for easy access for inspection and maintenance, without the need to isolate and dewater the channel. This type of bar screen works very well in heavy duty applications, particularly combined sewer systems.
Compact design with a low installation height above ground level.
Completely odor-encased screen with easy to remove covers.
Defined meshing of the cleaning rakes with the bar rack ensures a high operating reliability.
Screen installation possible without a bottom step.
The screen consists of a self-supporting folded stainless steel profile so that it can easily be lifted out of the channel.
Not hindered by gravel or grit.
High screenings discharge capacity through adjustable cleaning elements.
Independently replaceable rake and comb plates.
Self supporting integral frames with engineered bends for maximum strength.
Large rake shelf for high solids loading in each pass.
Remove instructions easily.
Heavy duty bar racks for resistance to all hydraulic loads.
